Legend of Zelda Map Project

I’ve been working on a series of illustrations based on the Legend of Zelda
which are going to be a part of the Emulator gaming event which is happening in Brisbane next month.

Each illustration will feature one enemy from the overworld on a small plot of land. I’ll then be stitching them all together to form a map of the overworld, it should be pretty cool when it’s all done. So far I’ve done the Octorock, Moblin, Armos, Zora, Tektite and Ghini You can see all of the enemies I’ve illustrated so far right here.

  1. Glad you like them.
I’ve had a play around with setting up the map, it’s looking really neat. I’ll post some of the landscape elements later in the week.

  2. I think it’s incredibly impressive when someone can expand upon a game like Zelda that was built using very minimalist graphics and turn it into something amazing like THAT. Just shows how creative you are :) I don’t know if I could ever reach your level in my lifetime, but I will try my best~

  3. Excellent, excellent job. On all of your Nintendo drawings, and especially these, you do a great job of being influenced by the source material but retaining your own personal style.

Will the final map be each of these panels butted up against each other, or will there be filler landscape between characters?

Keep up the great work, please!
